Ben Turner is the owner of Graphite, a music management and brand services company which specialises in the world of electronic music. Turner is the artist manager for techno and technology icon Richie Hawtin, and his company also works with ANNA, Nastia and SAMA’. Turner made his name as co-founder of the highly influential Muzik Magazine, Muzik Awards and then creative director on DanceStar USA: The American Dance Music Awards. Turner is a co-founder with Pete Tong in the International Music Summit, an event described as "the TED of music conferences". In 2013, he also formed the Association for Electronic Music, a not-for profit trade body to represent the genre, alongside long-serving entertainment industry lawyer Kurosh Nasseri. Its concept is to preserve, protect and promote electronic music worldwide.
